About

jennifer-gardenWe have all heard the saying follow your bliss, find your passion. My name is Jennifer, and for years my bliss and passion was cooking. I followed that and created a thriving catering business, followed by a successful gourmet market, deli and wine shop, “Jennifer’s Kitchen” which also thrived for several years. Unfortunately I, personally was not thriving. I was stressed out, burnt out, and not feeling very happy with myself or my life. I knew it was time for some changes.

One of my great passions has always been spirituality. I have always known in my soul that there must be more to this life, something that I was missing, I wanted to find the secret to happiness and joy filled living. This seeking has led me to many great teachers, gurus, self-help books, retreats, workshops and experiences. Self-help, spiritual, magic and miracles junkie am I!

Another love has been yoga, not only the physical practice but the philosophy as well, which led me to take my teacher training and become a certified yoga instructor in 2014.

jennifer-waterI truly believe that yoga can be beneficial to anyone. There is a saying…if you can breathe, you can do yoga. I advocate slow, gentle, therapeutic and restorative yoga for every body type.

After closing down Jennifer’s kitchen, and working as only a caterer once again, I had more free time, most of my summers off, and I wanted to travel!

In the last 10 years, I traveled solo to many yoga and women’s retreats around the world, and in June 2015, still in my quest to find answers, I chose to walk the Camino De Santiago, a spiritual pilgrimage that took me 500 miles across Spain in 35 days. It was an amazing experience and one that I wanted to share. Traveling solo has taught me a lot about myself, and it was nice meeting people along the way, but I also felt how great it would be to create a community of like-minded people to travel together to explore cultures, foods and sacred spots. I feel that all travel is transformational if we open our minds and hearts to the people and places we are visiting.
